About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager (Civil) supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of construction projects, ensuring safe delivery on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards. The role involves hands‑on site supervision, contractor coordination, and close monitoring of daily progress, while managing documentation, budgets, procurement, and stakeholder communications to keep projects aligned with design and schedule. • Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and execution plans; coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and vendors. • Monitor daily site progress, report schedule or quality deviations, and allocate resources, manpower, and materials. • Supervise civil and structural works, conduct inspections, ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards. • Coordinate with MEP, interior, and finishing teams to ensure seamless execution and propose site solutions. • Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, snag lists, inspection records, and track contractor submittals, RFIs, and material approvals. • Assist in preparing meeting minutes, project status reports, and maintaining documentation for quality assurance and audits. • Conduct quantity take‑offs, verify BOQ, track costs, review contractor bills, certify measurements, and recommend payments. • Coordinate procurement for timely delivery of materials and equipment. • Ensure adherence to quality control procedures, construction safety standards, and support HSE plan implementation. • Follow up on closure of NCRs and quality observations. • Support client meetings, coordinate with consultants, provide timely project updates, and assist in handover and close‑out documentation.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical knowledge of civil and structural works, excellent coordination and documentation abilities, and proficiency with scheduling and design tools such as MS Project/Primavera and AutoCAD, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 5–10 years of relevant experience. • Strong technical knowledge of civil and structural works. • Excellent project coordination, documentation, and communication skills. • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications. • Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera (preferred) and working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. • Experience with large‑scale commercial, IT park, or corporate interior projects; knowledge of LEED/green building practices is a plus. • Familiarity with contract administration and vendor management. • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (master’s in project or construction management preferred). • 5–10 years of civil construction or project management experience in commercial, industrial, or real‑estate projects. • Proven ability to handle contractors, consultants, and client interactions on‑site.
