About the Role
Building cleaning workers—including porters, janitors, maids, housekeeping cleaners, window washers, and rug shampooers—maintain commercial and institutional properties in clean, orderly condition. The role involves cleaning offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas, as well as performing floor care, glass washing, and waste removal. • Clean offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. • Wet‑ or dry‑mop floors, shampoo rugs, wash walls and glass, and remove rubbish, gum, and graffiti. • Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, and handle landscaping and snow removal. • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. • Replace light bulbs. • Transport small equipment or tools between departments. • Set up tables and chairs in auditoriums, meeting rooms, or halls.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) is required, along with less than one year of prior experience on a commercial or multi‑unit residential property. Essential skills include dependability, teamwork, ethical conduct, adherence to safety procedures, and basic English communication.
