About the Role

• Resolve complex construction issues, disputes, and disagreements. • Develop, assign, and monitor performance of OARs for assigned projects. • Review project status, schedules, change orders, and cost variances. • Verify payment applications and manage fiscal aspects of multiple projects. • Provide direction on schedules, cost control, contract administration, quality control, and dispute resolution. • Coordinate with district departments, environmental health & safety, design, asset management, contract administration, inspection, maintenance, and operations. • Develop and recommend internal policies and procedures. • Manage large programs with construction values exceeding $50 million.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management, or extensive related experience, and must obtain or hold a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential. A valid California architect registration or Professional Engineer license is preferred. • Minimum 10‑17 years of professional project/construction management experience; at least 5 years managing large programs. • 5+ years experience in educational facility construction, public works, or large commercial projects. • Preferred: design‑build experience, BIM utilization, LEED/CHPS certified projects, DSA construction/design processes. • Education options: bachelor’s in architecture, engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience; CCM credential required within one year if not already held. • Preferred licenses: California Architectural Registration or Professional Engineer license.

Benefits

The Senior Project Manager I and II positions are full‑time, onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with salary ranges of $187,000‑$197,000 for level I and $205,000‑$217,000 for level II. These roles involve overseeing large‑scale construction programs, including project schedules, cost control, contracts, and dispute resolution.
