About the Role

The Shuttle Bus Driver operates a company vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and AAON policies, performing routine inspections and basic maintenance while ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for all passengers. The driver must maintain a professional demeanor and provide assistance as needed during each trip. Key duties include transporting passengers between parking lots and AAON facilities, conducting pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting mechanical issues promptly, and keeping the shuttle clean and sanitized. The driver also assists passengers, especially those with mobility needs, communicates any delays or route changes to supervisors, and maintains accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities. • Operate shuttle bus transporting passengers between parking lots and AAON facilities. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues. • Maintain cleanliness and sanitize interior and exterior of the shuttle. • Assist passengers, including those with mobility needs, during boarding and exiting. • Communicate delays, incidents, or route changes to supervisors. • Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities. • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.

What You Bring

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger endorsement. Previous experience in shuttle or commercial driving is preferred, and candidates must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record. The role requires knowledge of vehicle safety procedures, basic maintenance practices, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in varying traffic and weather conditions. Punctuality, reliability, and the capacity to follow verbal and written instructions while completing required documentation are essential. Physical demands include the ability to sit for long periods, lift up to 25 lb occasionally, and assist passengers with boarding and exiting. The driver must maintain focus and awareness throughout all shifts. Work is primarily outdoors and in a vehicle, exposing the driver to varying weather and traffic environments.
