About the Role

The Business Development Manager drives technical and commercial adoption of Johnson Controls’ water‑based fire suppression technologies across Saudi Arabia, establishing robust specifications in collaboration with design and ownership stakeholders. You will work closely with the broader Fire Suppression team to ensure continuity and achieve regional and global strategic objectives. You will provide technical solutions to both common and unique fire protection challenges, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of fire suppression technologies. In this role you will help develop new growth strategies and pursue FEED‑stage projects to create sustainable, long‑term growth and competitive advantage. Working with colleagues and established partners, you will be integral to expanding market and wallet share. You will be responsible for developing a strategy and cultivating business relationships with multiple key end users and specifiers throughout the Saudi fire industry to unlock revenue growth. By embedding a cross‑functional sales and technology culture, you will support, execute, and close opportunities, becoming a trusted advisor to key influencers and the primary interface between partners and decision makers. You will manage key customer relationships, conduct business reviews with specifiers, and assess opportunities. A hunter mindset, perseverance, and tenacity will help you thrive in a matrix environment while juggling multiple priorities. What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with a degree or equivalent experience, five to seven years of proven sales or business development success, and at least three years of account‑management experience developing specifications for multiple product lines. Strong knowledge of the fire protection industry in KSA, the ability to build and execute rolling plans, and skill in presenting concepts to C‑level executives are required. Candidates must demonstrate strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead long‑term partnerships. A self‑starter attitude, results‑driven mentality, and excellent planning, organization, and time‑management skills are essential. Experience working in a global team and communicating across cultures is also valued. • Possess 5–7 years of proven sales or business development experience. • Demonstrate at least 3 years of account‑management experience developing product specifications. • Have strong knowledge of the fire protection industry in KSA and ability to present to executives. • Exhibit self‑starter attitude, strategic thinking, and excellent planning and time‑management skills.
