What You Bring
The Technician 1 role focuses on preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment such as aerial work platforms, construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas gear. Technicians must perform work safely and efficiently to minimize downtime, adapting to location‑specific fleet variations. The position requires physical stamina for tasks like bending, lifting 50 pounds, and working both indoors and outdoors. • Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models & equipment • High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired • 1 to 3 years of technician experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty‑line equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas) strongly preferred • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs
