About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide supervisory oversight for a group(s) of detailers, including coordinating work, ensuring that job standards are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. • Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards. • Train and develop new rebar detailers. • Supervise detailers, review their work, assist with difficulties, and identify ways to correct deficiencies. • Reassess detailing techniques and recommend cost‑effective solutions to improve efficiencies. • Assign and distribute detailing work efficiently while tracking teammates’ progress. • Track detailing costs both internally and with third‑party vendors. • Assist in performance reviews and recommend appropriate salary adjustments for detailing personnel.

What You Bring
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. • Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. • Hold a vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting from an accredited school or college, or equivalent. • Have at least four years of experience as a rebar detailer. • Possess a 2‑year technical degree from an accredited school or college. • Have a background in 3D modeling (preferred). • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of NRF’s detailing system (RebarCAD). • Bring prior supervisory or leadership experience.
