About the Role

As a Property Manager in Washington, DC, you will lead a team that oversees two Class A office properties, deliver exceptional client service, and drive financial performance through budgeting, reporting, and tenant improvement management while developing staff capabilities. Your daily work will involve managing comprehensive property operations, building strong tenant relationships, coordinating maintenance and capital projects, handling lease administration, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards. • Lead and manage two Class A office properties in downtown DC • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and market analysis • Build and maintain tenant relationships to improve satisfaction and retention • Coordinate maintenance, capital improvements, and vendor management • Manage lease administration, including renewals, amendments, and tenant improvements • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety, and environmental standards • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and detailed financial reports for property owners • Recruit, develop, and mentor property management staff

What You Bring

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance or a related field, a DC real‑estate and property‑manager license (to be obtained within six months), and several years of commercial property‑management experience, including budgeting, financial analysis, and proficient use of Yardi, MRI, and Excel. Experience with Class A offices, capital projects, and sustainability initiatives is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field required • DC real‑estate license and property‑manager license required within six months of hire • 3+ years commercial property‑management experience with strong tenant‑relations focus • 3+ years experience in budget development, financial analysis, variance reporting, and CAM reconciliations • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in Yardi, MRI, and Excel • Preferred: experience managing Class A office, retail, or mixed‑use properties • Preferred: background in capital project management and construction oversight • Preferred: experience with sustainability initiatives and LEED‑certified properties • No visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Benefits

Compensation is estimated between $112,000 and $115,000 per year for an on‑site position in Washington, DC, and includes a competitive benefits package such as 401(k) matching, comprehensive health coverage, paid parental leave, PTO, holidays, and early wage access.
