About the Role
The Programme Executive provides project‑management leadership for major projects, programmes and portfolios, ensuring alignment with company strategy, business case and plans. Responsibilities include planning, delegation, monitoring, control and motivation of teams to meet time, cost, quality, scope, benefits and risk targets. Key duties involve identifying internal and external customer needs, developing and executing strategies on behalf of the SVP Portfolio, managing a portfolio of projects to deliver agreed KPIs, and ensuring best practices are applied across programmes and business units. The role also requires stakeholder interface management, securing funding and resources, leading integration of major work packages and may include international travel. • Identify internal and external customer product or service needs and develop a strategy to meet them. • Execute the strategy on behalf of the SVP Portfolio to satisfy customer requirements. • Deliver project, programme and portfolio activities following full lifecycle and company standard processes. • Manage a portfolio of projects and achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • Develop and deploy best practices across the programme and key interface business units. • Oversee stakeholder interface management and ensure successful delivery of stakeholder requirements. • Provide leadership, direction and secure funding and resources for projects and programmes. • Lead integration of major work packages to meet project and portfolio objectives. • Travel internationally as needed to support business needs.

What You Bring
The Programme Executive role is based in Derby or Bristol, with a hybrid working model requiring at least three days on site. It is a full‑time senior leadership position within Civil Manufacturing Operations. Candidates must hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience and be a member of a professional body working towards RPP qualification. Preferred experience includes governance of increasingly complex projects or programmes, exposure to purchasing, commercial and engineering management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and define strategic direction.
