About the Role
The Sprinkler Installer Foreman is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, foam suppression systems, fire pumps, and back‑flow devices. They also execute the installation project plan by coordinating equipment delivery, accurately forecasting installation hours, anticipating challenges, and securing all tools and equipment at the end of each work period. In this role, the foreman applies judgment based on practice and precedence, allocates work as a team leader, and escalates changes, discrepancies, and coordination problems to the construction manager. They frequently resolve problems by researching alternatives, maintain proper documentation, review project drawings for compliance, attend project meetings, and adhere to all company safety policies while being able to work alternative shifts or weekends as needed. • Install, service, and repair fire protection systems (wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, foam, fire pumps, back‑flow devices). • Lead installation projects: manage equipment delivery, forecast hours, anticipate challenges, and secure tools/equipment. • Allocate work, address changes, discrepancies, and coordination issues, and report to the construction manager. • Maintain documentation, review project drawings, and adhere to safety policies. • Read and interpret construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. • Communicate effectively with customers and team members, using tact and diplomacy.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a minimum of five years of documented experience in fire sprinkler installation and service, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Candidates must be capable of physical labor such as lifting up to 70 lb, working at heights up to 60 ft, and navigating confined spaces, as well as reading and interpreting construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
