Maintenance Technician
Perform scheduled maintenance, fault rectification, and support for rolling stock at Hitachi Rail.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities on rolling stock within the TMC according to vehicle maintenance instructions • Undertake servicing and preparation of rolling stock • Actively participate in continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures supporting depot and fleet activities • Support delivery of new trains and undertake maintenance acceptance processes • Ensure exam tasks are completed timely and perform basic fault rectification or repair when required • Adhere to all health and safety processes and procedures • Attend testing locations, main line stations and outstations to perform preventive and corrective maintenance as required • Support Maintenance Team Leaders and Production Managers in delivering the production plan • Record all work activities and stock consumption using the maintenance management system in line with processes and procedures • Work shifts to meet the service requirements of Hitachi customers within the TMC
