Field Engineer (Clearance Required)

About the Role
• Provide administration functions in support of THAAD KSA Batteries. • Monitor and report operations, battery status, readiness optimization, and supply-chain status. • Support the customer in managing and monitoring the maintenance and sustainment program, to include scheduling services, system upgrades, and modifications. • Supply support requirements for fielded THAAD batteries. • Create, update, and complete Maintenance Actions within allotted time and verify completeness and accuracy of maintenance reports. • Monitor levels of critical parts; report inventory levels to senior managers; and recommend parts allocation. • Support remote maintenance activities. • Assist with training KSA maintainer/operators in accordance with the CLS training program. • Identify issues, develop, and submit investigation reports to assist program engineers with design changes. • Handle and inspect electrostatic sensitive devices. • Coordinate Engineering reach-back support of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Field Service Representative (FSR) maintenance activities. • Provide field and sustainment-level maintenance support to KSA THAAD Fire Units. • Support the System Integration and Check Out (SICO) from White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico. • Coordinate field-level cooperation among deployed CLS Teams. • Maintain and sustain THAAD Training Devices and related software. • Perform all maintenance actions and failure troubleshooting that are above the level of the Enhanced Operator/Maintainers (EOM), including but not limited to: software, hardware, interconnecting cabling, electrical systems, and networks. • Gather, maintain, analyze, and store sustainment data. Research maintenance procedures and provide documentation.

What You Bring
• CompTIA Security+ certified. • Basic understanding of hydraulic operations. • Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude. • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and mechanical drawings. • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). • Able to meet the residency requirements for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. • Qualify as a member of a missile transport team and a Missile Surveillance test team. • Must pass a background check including criminal and credit checks. • 3-5 years of technician experience with field and sustainment operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. • U.S. Passport. • Working knowledge of Unix and Linux. • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to apply fault detection and fault isolation procedures. • If required, have the ability to work in an austere environment with limited Western amenities. • Knowledge or experience with U.S. Army Material Maintenance Management. • Must possess an active security clearance at the SECRET level or higher. • Experience in the Middle East/Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) providing sustaining and/or training support. • Ability to manage and account for inventory. • U.S. citizenship. • Ability to apply appropriate Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T). • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics. • Experience with THAAD or Patriot Systems. • Basic understanding of the Army Supply System. • Ability to establish and maintain networks (e.g., LAN, WAN, IP address schemes).
