About the Role

In this role you will receive service calls, diagnose equipment or system malfunctions, and perform repairs on electronic fire alarm and related building systems at customer sites. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will deliver solutions and outcomes during each service visit while maintaining the highest level of customer service. You will follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures, consult technical manuals and bulletins, and service fire & life safety systems from multiple manufacturers. Reading blueprints, schematics, and product manuals, you will communicate consistently with customers, complete service acknowledgments via mobile devices, obtain signatures, participate in on‑call rotations, mentor teammates, and provide recommendations and quotes for efficiency improvements and upsell opportunities. • Receive and assess service calls from the Service Resource Center • Diagnose and repair electronic fire alarm and related building systems on‑site • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures using manuals and bulletins • Service, troubleshoot, and install fire & life safety systems from multiple manufacturers • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and product manuals • Communicate consistently with customers to ensure satisfaction and obtain signatures • Complete service acknowledgments with proper coding via mobile devices • Participate in on‑call rotation and mentor team members • Provide recommendations, upsell opportunities, and generate quotes for solutions

What You Bring

The successful candidate has at least two years of documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety, access control, nurse call, and paging. They must be able to read technical documents, operate test equipment, lift 50‑70 lb, work in confined or elevated spaces, and adapt to flexible schedules that may include weekends and overnight travel. Strong customer service, organizational skills, safety compliance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug tests are required; NICET Level II certification is preferred. • Minimum 2 years experience with low‑voltage electrical systems (fire/life safety, access control, nurse call, paging) • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product manuals • Proficiency with test equipment, multimeters, and commissioning devices • Physical ability to lift 50‑70 lb and work in confined or elevated spaces • Strong customer service, organizational skills, and safety compliance • Valid driver’s license meeting company standards and ability to pass background/drug test • Preferred NICET Level II certification
