About the Role
The full‑time Product Compliance Engineer, reporting to the Product Compliance Manager, will be based at the Research and Development facility in Taylor, MI. This role ensures products meet applicable regulations by planning, implementing and monitoring regulatory policies focused on chemical exposure and end‑of‑product life issues such as CPSC, RoHS/REACH, TSCA and state‑specific regulations like California’s Proposition 65. • Collaborate cross‑functionally across Masco HQ and all Business Units to coordinate a company‑wide regulation compliance program. • Ensure product compliance policies are consistent globally across all Business Units. • Conduct reviews, testing and periodic audits of new and existing products to identify actions needed for regulatory compliance. • Analyze complex data sets to evaluate factors influencing product compliance. • Interact with regulatory agencies and communicate requirements to Business Units. • Represent Masco at trade associations to shape positions and strategic decisions for Business Units. • Serve as subject‑matter expert on regulations and provide training to Business Units. • Identify emerging regulations and consumer‑product safety trends. • Participate in standard‑development organizations and convey future changes impacting Business Units. • Use independent judgment to determine when laboratory testing is required and make decisions on material sourcing or product labeling. • Support Masco Legal on litigation matters related to products and compliance.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, Toxicology, or a related field. • Minimum five years of product regulatory compliance and testing experience, or equivalent education and work experience. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Quick learner with strong work ethic and adaptability to a fast‑paced environment. • Capability to handle multiple tasks and meet various deadlines. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting and conveying policies and procedures. • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. • Willingness to travel up to 30 % domestically and internationally.

Benefits
