The Mechanical Intern position offers practical exposure to building-engineered HVAC and plumbing design, collaboration with seasoned professionals on regional and local projects, and participation in mentorship and young-professional networking programs. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an engineering degree program, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication abilities, basic Microsoft Office skills, and a commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture. • Completed at least 2 years toward degree with a 3.0+ GPA (preferred). • Local candidate preference (preferred). • Demonstrated knowledge of industry-relevant software packages (preferred). • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program. • Exhibit strong attention to detail. • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
