About the Role

Daily responsibilities include maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance on building systems to achieve 100% uptime. This covers fire/life safety, mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, plumbing, controls) and electrical systems (lighting, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers) as well as hot‑water systems. The engineer must record system readings, analyze operations, determine the cause of any malfunctions, and take corrective action. Additional duties involve work‑order management using CMMS, vendor coordination, handling customer‑facing tickets, complying with hazardous‑material policies, and following emergency escalation procedures. • Maintain and monitor all building systems to achieve 100% uptime. • Perform preventive maintenance on fire/life safety, HVAC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, plumbing, and controls. • Operate and service electrical infrastructure including UPS, generators, ATS, STS, PDU, switchgear, and transformers. • Record system readings, diagnose malfunctions, and implement corrective actions. • Manage work orders, CMMS entries, vendor coordination, and customer tickets. • Follow hazardous material storage, usage, disposal, and emergency escalation procedures. • Perform physical tasks such as lifting ≥50 lb, climbing ladders up to 30 ft, and accessing rooftops.

What You Bring

Physical requirements include frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting at least 50 lb, and working at heights using ladders up to 30 ft or on rooftops. The role may require holiday work, varied schedules, and on‑call response to site emergencies. Desired qualifications are at least 2 years of data‑center or critical‑facility experience with UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgear, strong verbal and written communication, and proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, and CMMS (preferred Corrigo). EPA 608 certification, NFPA 70E training, and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship are also required. • Provide 2+ years of data‑center or critical‑facility experience with UPS and generator systems. • Hold EPA 608 certification and NFPA 70E training (preferred). • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and CMMS (preferred Corrigo experience).
