About the Role

Key duties involve performing repairs and replacements on a wide range of door types and control devices, conducting preventative maintenance, and handling commercial‑door hardware such as emergency exit devices. The technician must work both independently and within a team, maintain strict attention to detail, follow established processes, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment. • Repair and replace ADA operators, manual, swing, folding, sliding doors, and related hardware. • Service various door equipment and control devices. • Perform carpentry tasks such as partition framing and door/window installation. • Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial and automatic doors. • Manage multiple projects and meet time constraints. • Ensure strong attention to detail and adherence to processes. • Provide excellent customer service orientation.

What You Bring

The current opening is for an Automatic Door Service Technician. The role requires experience servicing automatic doors, with AAADM certification preferred. The technician will repair and replace ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow‑metal and storefront doors, as well as automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors. Applicants must have at least two years of experience as an automatic‑door installer or service technician and possess strong mechanical aptitude. Required skills include servicing a variety of door hardware, carpentry for partition framing and door/window installation, and a clean driving record for company vehicles. A positive, professional attitude and the ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints are essential. • Maintain a positive, professional attitude in team or independent settings. • Possess mechanical aptitude and a clean driving record. • AAADM certification preferred; minimum 2 years of relevant experience required. • Experience with manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, Assa Abloy is a plus.
