About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Maintain and track department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to support their professional growth. • Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring

The role demands physical agility, including reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts and lifting up to 50 lb, while wearing required PPE. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, requiring movement between departments and properties (6–12 miles per day) and occasional computer use for 1‑2 hours daily. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance. • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • 1+ year knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules or shifts. • Associate degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred. • Familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM requirements. • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
