About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineer will provide engineering capability to operational and development programs, delivering zero‑defect projects by applying robust process technologies to materials, tooling, part fabrication, and assembly. Key duties include maintaining a safety‑first mindset, ensuring compliance with customer health, safety, and environmental policies, and developing technical solutions for complex problems across customers, suppliers, and internal teams. The role also involves delivering technical support for manufacturing process development and integration, using root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate non‑conformances, and fostering positive team relationships. In the Materials & Process area, the engineer will implement material and process methods from concept through production, leveraging the Zero Defect Manufacturing tool suite to achieve high process capability. Responsibilities encompass resolving vendor quality issues, improving efficiency and product quality, managing manufacturing documentation, and promoting standardized best‑practice workflows across India and ANA sites. • Ensure safety‑first mindset and compliance with customer HSE policies. • Develop technical solutions for complex problems across customers, suppliers, and internal teams. • Lead manufacturing process development, integration, and production support. • Apply root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate non‑conformances. • Implement materials and process methods from concept to production using Zero Defect Manufacturing tools. • Resolve vendor quality issues and improve efficiency, product quality, and reduce non‑conforming parts. • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation: drawings, work instructions, routing sheets, specifications, BOMs, SOPs. • Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across multiple sites. • Represent the business in customer and supplier meetings as a technical representative. • Provide expertise in PFMEA, APQP, FAI reporting (AS9102), and change‑control processes.

What You Bring
Candidates should have 7‑12 years of manufacturing engineering experience in the aerospace industry, a relevant engineering degree, and expertise in creating manufacturing drawings, work instructions, routing sheets, specifications, BOMs, and special process instructions. Proficiency in quality systems (AS9100/ISO9000), FAI reporting (AS9102), PFMEA, APQP, change control, MS Office, ERP, and basic CAD (CATIA or NX) is required. The role demands strong personal drive, proactive leadership, and the ability to coach and influence team members. The engineer must convey technical concepts to varied audiences, build networks with key decision‑makers, and pursue continuous professional development while maintaining fluency in English. Desirable qualifications include project or program management experience, familiarity with the AS9145 APQP process, and the ability to work effectively in a multi‑cultural, shop‑floor environment. • Demonstrate 7‑12 years of aerospace manufacturing engineering experience with a relevant engineering degree. • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and basic CAD (CATIA or NX). • Possess strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills; fluent in English.
