About the Role
The Cleaner works full‑time on the 2nd shift under the Custodial Manager or Supervisor at C&W Services. The role involves performing a variety of custodial duties in accordance with the company's standards, instructions, and procedures. Core responsibilities include sweeping, mopping and washing floors using both light and heavy commercial buffers and shampoo machines, as well as vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas. The Cleaner also dusts furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, light fixtures and performs high‑dusting of horizontal surfaces. Additional tasks involve cleaning interior windows, glass, door trims, washing interior walls, and maintaining restrooms by cleaning fixtures, restocking supplies, and monitoring for defects. Trash collection, liner replacement, and snow removal from entrances and walkways are also required, alongside periodic deep‑cleaning such as leather polishing and wall washing. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors using commercial buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs and office areas; spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, light fixtures, and perform high‑dusting. • Clean interior windows, glass, door trims, and wash interior walls daily. • Maintain restrooms: clean fixtures, restock supplies, and monitor for defects. • Collect and dispose of building trash; replace liners according to specifications. • Remove snow and ice from entrances and walkways as needed. • Perform periodic tasks such as leather polishing, wall washing, and deep cleaning.
