About the Role
The role primarily involves supporting the preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations developed in collaboration with senior staff. This work forms the foundation for project planning and decision‑making. You will manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects, reviewing daily reports, resolving issues, and training field staff on your assigned projects. Additionally, you will oversee project budgets for both geotechnical and CMT assignments and prepare related invoices. Under supervision, you may also be responsible for tasks such as boring and test pit layout, evaluating site access, preparing drilling packages, obtaining utility clearances, researching local geologic history, supervising drilling crews, performing in‑situ and specialized field testing, classifying soils, and assisting with proposal preparation for geotechnical and CMT work. • Support preparation of geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations. • Manage CMT projects, review daily reports, resolve issues, and train field staff. • Oversee budgets and prepare invoices for geotechnical and CMT projects. • Perform boring and test pit layouts and evaluate site access. • Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances. • Research local geologic history and supervise drilling crews. • Conduct in‑situ and specialized geotechnical field testing. • Classify soils and coordinate laboratory testing. • Assist in preparing proposals for geotechnical and CMT projects.

What You Bring
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field is required, while no prior experience is necessary. A professional license is not required for this position but will be needed for future career advancement, and a valid driver’s license is required if driving for any ECS subsidiary. • Hold a BS/MS in Civil, Geological Engineering, Geology, or related field; no experience required. • Maintain a valid driver’s license; professional license not required initially.
