About the Role
The role assists the project team in coordinating detailed projects, ensuring proper recordkeeping, on‑time material delivery, and change‑order management while cultivating a positive customer‑service environment. • Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication safety programs and standards. • Initiate contact with customers at project start and coordinate all job aspects proactively. • Coordinate requirements with contractors and detailers to ensure timely drawing submittals and material delivery. • Attend site meetings with detailers to support customer focus. • Produce documents and process orders using Nucor’s business system. • Assist supervisor in project reviews and resolve discrepancies. • Manage contract files, monitor lump‑sum budgets, and handle final invoicing. • Place orders for non‑rebar products. • Control contracts through the business system. • Track change orders and develop knowledge of CRSI standards and reinforced concrete practices.

What You Bring
• Exhibit conduct aligned with Nucor’s vision and values. • Gain proficiency in detailing and fabrication processes. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. • Possess at least three years of project coordination or high‑level administrative experience. • Preferred: one year of construction environment experience. • Preferred: two‑year degree in Construction Management or Architectural Engineering. • Basic knowledge of reinforcing bar detailing. • Experience in customer relations and dispute resolution. • Physical demands include typical office activities, walking, standing, bending, and handling equipment; vision requirements and moderate noise levels.
