About the Role
• Load and unload equipment. • Erect and dismantle 5'x7'x16' scaffolding and staging; level ground for scaffolding. • Tend mortar and grout; lift, move, set, and shovel between wheelbarrows and buckets. • Perform general cleanup, debris removal, sweeping, washing, and disposal or burning of debris. • Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete; vibrate concrete as needed. • Provide work direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, helpers, and apprentices. • Build effective relationships with diverse colleagues and organizational levels.

What You Bring
Mortenson is hiring a Journeyman Laborer to support construction projects by preparing, handling, and supplying materials to other trades. The role requires legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. • Completed a two‑year apprenticeship program. • Construction experience preferred. • Proficient with hand and power tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies. • Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service, detail‑oriented, and effective communication. • Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb (over 50 lb with assistance or equipment).
