You will lead market strategy for the electric substation and transmission market, covering Hubbell’s infrastructure solutions, OEM components, and protection and controls, leveraging a proven track record in strategic analysis, go‑to‑market planning, and a passion for utility infrastructure. The leader builds consensus across all organization levels to inform decisions, identify opportunities, craft compelling stories, accelerate demand generation, and excel in commercialization. In daily practice you will collaborate with business unit, product, and sales teams as a strategic partner to develop market strategies aligned with business goals, product roadmaps, and market trends. You will define strategic intelligence needs, drive unified market positioning, and champion execution through pitches, industry events, cross‑functional workstreams, and executive updates. Additional duties include partnering with enterprise marketing to prioritize full‑spectrum marketing functions, guiding participation in industry coalitions and standards bodies, generating thought‑leadership content, and creating metrics and dashboards to measure success and drive improvement. • Partner with business unit, product, and sales teams to create market strategies aligned with product roadmaps and market trends. • Define and manage strategic intelligence needs to guide decisions in the electric substation and transmission market. • Lead unified market positioning and commercialization of Hubbell’s substation and transmission offerings. • Deliver strategic pitches, present at industry events, and provide executive updates on market trends. • Collaborate with enterprise marketing to prioritize and execute full‑spectrum marketing activities for the substation market. • Represent Hubbell in industry coalitions, standards bodies, and key events. • Produce thought‑leadership content and commercial playbooks for the market. • Develop metrics and dashboards to track market success and improvement.

What You Bring
The role seeks a creative market strategist with expertise in the bulk electric system to expand a portfolio of substation and transmission solutions from leading brands such as Armorcast, Beckwith Electric, Chance, DMC Power, Greenjacket, Ohio Brass, and USCO. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Science with a finance, management, marketing, or technical focus (MBA preferred), has at least ten years of direct or indirect leadership in B2B market strategy, intelligence, product marketing or product management, and five years of experience in the electric utility market with deep knowledge of substation and transmission applications. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Science (MBA preferred) with 10 + years of B2B market strategy leadership. • Possess 5 + years experience in electric utility substation and transmission markets and demonstrated product positioning expertise.
