About the Role
• Identify and engage commercial, residential, and institutional prospects near Vicinity’s pipe infrastructure. • Research prospect data, energy systems, and decision‑makers to support the sales process. • Build relationships with executive and operations stakeholders such as general managers, finance, engineering, and procurement. • Maintain prospect data and CRM hygiene in Dynamics. • Conduct financial analysis, prepare proposals, pricing, and presentations for prospects. • Lead negotiations and close deals to achieve individual sales targets. • Collaborate with the regional sales team to execute corporate and regional growth strategies. • Educate regional influencers on Vicinity’s district energy capabilities. • Participate in community outreach and professional associations to enhance the outreach program. • Develop relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, and developers to drive new growth. • Manage account contracts, renewals, and retain responsibility for assigned accounts. • Expand revenues through beyond‑the‑meter services and energy‑efficiency upgrades. • Leverage the customer service team to resolve service, billing, and collection issues promptly. • Apply sophisticated financial modeling to calculate ROI and negotiate detailed agreements. • Travel occasionally (less than 10%) for meetings, training, and regional visits.

What You Bring
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least ten years of sales or business‑development experience, ideally with a background in commercial real‑estate development and the energy, utilities, or HVAC sectors.
