About the Role
The role covers pre‑contract and post‑contract quantity surveying functions for civil and structural works, including measurement, estimating, tender support, contract administration, change control, progress payment assessment, budget forecasting, and claim review, culminating in project close‑out and final account negotiation. As the Airfield and Civil Work package lead, the incumbent will liaise with the client’s PIC on design and construction issues, coordinate with the contractor’s QS on variations and payments, and support the wider QS team with pre‑tender estimates, tender queries, change tracking and evaluation. • Perform measurement and estimating for airfield, concrete, and steel structures. • Support tender management, evaluate bids and respond to queries. • Manage contracts, control changes/variations, assess interim progress payments, and forecast budgets. • Lead the Airfield and Civil Work package within the QS team. • Interface with the client’s PIC to resolve design and construction issues. • Assist the QS team with pre‑tender estimates, change tracking, and tender evaluation. • Track, control, and report project budgets. • Liaise with the contractor’s QS on variation assessments and progress payment evaluations. • Review claims and negotiate final accounts.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline (master’s a plus), have at least seven years of cost management or construction experience in aviation or infrastructure projects, demonstrate strong communication, leadership and client‑management skills, possess native‑level English proficiency, and be proficient in Cost‑X or equivalent software. • Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus). • Minimum 7 years cost management or construction experience in aviation/airport or infrastructure projects. • Strong communication, leadership and people‑management abilities. • Proven client‑management and business development skills. • Native‑level proficiency in English. • Proficiency in Cost‑X or equivalent cost estimation software.
