About the Role
• Define and implement data collection methods for soil, groundwater, surface water, stormwater, air, and other environmental samples. • Conduct field investigations, inspections, and environmental surveys to assess site conditions. • Prepare data visualizations, tables, charts, and illustrations for analysis and presentation. • Write technical reports and presentations that convey findings, recommendations, and remediation plans. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for data integrity, documentation, and record retention. • Assist in scoping and developing medium‑to‑large projects and oversee cross‑functional execution. • Develop and implement Work Plans, QAPPs, and HASPs per federal guidelines. • Interact professionally with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients. • Perform research and contribute to proposal development. • Uphold ethical decision‑making, company policies, and safety standards.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate brings a proven record of field‑work execution and aims to transition from task management to full project management. Responsibilities will start with sampling and data collection, then evolve to technical writing, schedule and budget oversight, and leadership of cross‑functional project teams. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, able to pass HAZWOPER and motor‑vehicle screenings, and willing to travel as project needs dictate. • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a closely related field. • Minimum 3 years’ experience in environmental investigations, including planning, field work, data processing, and technical writing. • Working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes. • Experience managing small to medium‑size projects. • Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and data‑interpretation skills. • Proven safety record and adherence to health, safety, and harassment policies. • Excellent written and oral communication skills for scientific and non‑technical audiences. • Ability to lead and mentor junior team members while maintaining QA/QC standards. • Flexible work schedule and willingness to travel, including overnight stays. • Ability to pass HAZWOPER physical, wear a tight‑fitting respirator, and complete motor‑vehicle screening. • Master’s degree in a related discipline (preferred). • Experience with quantitative hydrogeologic analysis (preferred). • Proficiency in graphic‑development software (preferred). • 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (preferred). • Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training (preferred).
