About the Role
The Superintendent is responsible for coordinating on‑site construction activities, completing work ahead of schedule, within budget and to specifications. Duties may range from assisting with project planning to directing an entire project, depending on client size and authority. This position is travel‑heavy, with up to 90 % time on‑site, typically spending 8‑18 months per project across any U.S. state. A designated per diem, mobilization support, and a longer weekend every four weeks are provided. • Enforce company safety policies and procedures. • Perform foreman duties and coordinate site activities of foremen and field personnel. • Manage and delegate tasks to subcontractors to meet deadlines. • Collaborate with clients to keep projects on schedule and under budget. • Ensure timely delivery, inspection, and documentation of materials. • Record and address change orders and damage reports. • Maintain accurate paperwork flow and filing. • Forecast material/equipment needs to sustain crew productivity. • Interpret specifications, blueprints, addendums, and change orders. • Identify and track work plan changes. • Conduct minor job layout using levels, transit, and string line. • Verify quality of completed work. • Monitor productivity reports and payroll records. • Respond promptly to customer complaints. • Provide and verify proper safety equipment usage. • Build and sustain client relationships for repeat business. • Facilitate technical and safety training for staff. • Assist HR with hiring, training recommendations, performance appraisals, and employee issues. • Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports. • Active participation in daily toolbox meetings.

What You Bring
The role is full‑time, typically 50 hours per week, with schedules adjusted to project needs. Travel is required up to 90 % and the Superintendent must be present on the project site, with intermittent travel to their residence of record. Physical demands include long shifts, heavy lifting, and work in varied environmental conditions, all while adhering to strict safety protocols. All candidates are subject to pre‑employment screening, which may include background checks and drug testing. The company will never request payment or personal financial information as part of the hiring process; any such requests should be reported as fraud. • Minimum three years of supervisory experience in construction. • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project regulations. • Demonstrated safe work behavior and leadership by example. • Familiarity with construction tools, machinery, methods, and procedures. • Ability to forecast and monitor project costs. • Proficiency in construction scheduling, methods, and blueprint reading. • Strong communication and motivational skills with crews, managers, and clients. • Competence with Microsoft Office, email, and internet tools. • Capability to work under pressure and meet timelines. • Skill in reading and interpreting safety rules, manuals, and technical documents. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Effective public speaking to groups of customers or employees. • Proficiency in basic math, algebra, and geometry calculations. • Analytical problem‑solving and data‑driven decision making. • Willingness to perform other assigned duties and maintain team relations. • Up to 12‑hour shifts performing hard physical work in varying weather. • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects up to 50 lb; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing. • Ability to work at heights and use fall‑protection equipment. • Requirement to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety shoes, gloves, etc.). • Good visual and hearing acuity; ability to coordinate eyes, hands, and feet.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes performance‑based merit increases.
