About the Role

The Framework HS&E Manager, reporting to the Head of HS&E, will be a senior leader responsible for health, safety and environmental performance across the framework, shaping and executing the HS&E strategy, and collaborating with internal teams, clients, supply‑chain partners and regulators while contributing to the wider Group strategy. • Lead and deliver the framework HS&E strategy, driving continual improvement across safety, health and environmental performance. • Own, implement and assure the framework HS&E management system, aligned to client and regulatory requirements. • Develop, monitor and report HS&E performance metrics and KPIs, providing strategic insight and direction. • Engage, influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the full project lifecycle. • Lead, develop and mentor the HS&E team, fostering a high‑performance, learning‑focused culture. • Drive risk mitigation and best practice to protect people, the business and the environment.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate brings senior‑level HS&E leadership experience in infrastructure, water or a similarly regulated sector, a track record of developing and delivering HS&E strategies and management systems, strong leadership and coaching skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen, analytical ability, and deep knowledge of legislation, risk management and performance reporting. • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety. • Relevant senior HS&E experience in a comparable industry. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. • Membership of IOSH or IIRSM (TechIOSH minimum). • CMIOSH or working towards.
