About the Role
In this role you will lead a team of Fiber Splicers on plant upgrades, extensions, and new-build construction, while maintaining the department’s operational procedures. You will develop your crew’s splicing expertise, direct multiple jobsite crews, and uphold the company-wide safety culture. Meeting deadlines, ensuring project quality, and providing exceptional customer service for escalated issues are key responsibilities. • Support Fiber Splicers in plant upgrades, extensions, and new‑build construction. • Maintain and improve operational procedures for the Fiber Department. • Develop team members’ fiber‑splicing skills and knowledge. • Direct multiple crews and coordinate their jobsite activities. • Promote and sustain the company‑wide safety culture. • Drive the team to meet project deadlines and deliver quality results. • Provide high‑level customer service for escalated issues.
