About the Role
The Painter is responsible for sanding, cleaning, masking, and painting transformer units and fabricated components to achieve a durable, visually appealing finish before final inspection. The role also involves cross‑training and assisting in other team work areas as needed. • Prepare all surfaces for spraying, including bare metal sanding and feather‑edging of previously painted areas • Verify Bills of Material for correct color and specified mil thickness • Adjust and monitor pump pressures, heater temperatures, and air/fluid pressures for optimal spray conditions • Change filters and maintain cleanliness of spray booth and floor areas on schedule • Operate crane to move units into the spray booth and store repainted units in the staging area for inspection • Cross‑train and perform duties in other work areas of the team

What You Bring
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Painter – 3rd Shift (Transformers) for its facility on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI. • Hold a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution • Have at least six months of spray‑painting experience • Have at least six months of manufacturing experience • Do not require immigration sponsorship; candidates must reside within 50 mi of the facility (military exempt) • Possess knowledge of industrial airless or air‑pressure painting (preferred) • Ability to work overtime when required • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, reaching, and standing

Benefits
The position offers a base hourly rate of $24.50 plus a $2.50 shift premium, with core hours from 11 pm to 7 am. Overtime may be required beyond these hours. A $3,000 sign‑on bonus is available in two installments, subject to eligibility criteria and payout conditions.
