About the Role
Duties include overseeing daily operations of large‑scale landscape projects, beginning with a 4.5‑acre mixed‑use development featuring walking trails, water features, and retail spaces. The manager will direct crews and subcontractors ranging from five to 50 people, read and interpret blueprints, manage irrigation system installation, and supervise planting and soil preparation. Proactive planning of schedules and material ordering, as well as hands‑on involvement during critical periods, are required. • Lead daily execution of large‑scale landscape construction projects. • Manage crews and subcontractors of 5‑50 personnel. • Interpret blueprints and scaled drawings to implement complex layouts. • Oversee irrigation system design, pressure calculations, and installation. • Supervise soil preparation, planting, and mulch application. • Plan project schedules and coordinate material ordering. • Provide hands‑on support during critical project phases.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of landscape construction experience, strong blueprint and irrigation expertise, and a “boots on the ground” work ethic. A contractor’s or irrigation license is preferred, and the ability to travel within a 1.5‑hour radius is needed as the role expands. Proven project‑management skills, including timeline coordination and subcontractor oversight, are essential. • Minimum 3 years of landscape construction experience. • Proficient in blueprint reading, irrigation systems, and plant identification. • “Boots on the ground” work ethic; willing to perform manual labor. • Contractor’s or irrigation license preferred; willingness to obtain. • Ability to travel within a 1.5‑hour radius for expanding markets. • Demonstrated project‑management and subcontractor coordination skills.
