About the Role

The Project Administrator will prepare reports, construction plans, technical specifications and construction drawings, and will perform roadway geometry and storm‑water management calculations. They will assist senior engineers with environmental permit applications, create design sketches and final working drawings, and conduct data collection and analysis as part of the quality‑assurance process. The role also includes reviewing shop drawings and ensuring design work stays within budget and schedule. • Design and plan highway, roadway, interstate, freight, and transit projects, including drainage improvements and utility relocations. • Prepare reports, construction plans, technical specifications, and construction drawings for transportation projects. • Perform roadway geometry and stormwater management calculations. • Assist senior engineers with environmental permit applications and research. • Create sketches, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under senior engineer supervision. • Collect and analyze project data; verify engineering plans as part of QA/QC processes. • Review and markup shop drawings according to DOT comments. • Conduct engineering design and analysis within budget and schedule constraints.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and have at least one year of relevant experience. Required skills include advanced project scheduling using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Bluebeam Revu and ArcGIS, and knowledge of FDOT specifications, FHWA regulations and QA/QC procedures. Expertise in roadway geometric design, traffic impact analysis and MUTCD‑compliant traffic control plans is also expected. • Travel up to 10% domestically; telecommute up to three days per week. • Hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with at least one year of relevant experience. • Proficient in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. • Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and ArcGIS. • Knowledgeable of FDOT specifications, FHWA regulations, and QA/QC procedures for transportation projects. • Expertise in roadway geometric design, traffic impact analysis, and MUTCD‑compliant traffic control plans.
