About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle complies with company safety standards, state and federal regulations, and daily vehicle condition reports are completed. The driver performs complete pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reports safety issues, and follows route sheets to service each customer. They operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact and dispose of refuse, interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, and tag unsatisfactory containers according to procedures. Continuous monitoring of waste, cleaning spills, and maintaining vehicle readiness by cleaning equipment are required, as is completing productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports while meeting productivity standards. The role also involves following all safety policies, participating in the ReSOP program, and performing additional duties as assigned. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily vehicle condition reports. • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes, loading, compacting and disposing waste at designated facilities. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues while maintaining productivity standards. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and clean accidental spills following safety protocols. • Keep the vehicle and equipment clean to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime. • Follow all company, state and federal safety regulations and participate in the ReSOP program.

What You Bring
Excellent customer service, time management and follow‑through are essential; drivers must act professionally, uphold company policies, avoid undue risk, and take pride in their work. Minimum requirements include a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement, willingness to work the 2nd shift (start times between 12 pm and 8 pm), and an hourly rate of $30.80 with eligibility for a bonus plan. • Hold a valid Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement.
