About the Role
In this role you will supervise field electricians, step in for equipment breakdowns, support site projects and ensure all electrical work complies with Australian Standards. Responsibilities include conducting site audits, training the crew, managing jobs and maintenance records in SAP/MEX, and providing technical advice on PLCs, motors and power generation while coordinating with budgets and timelines. • Supervise field electricians and lead team across site and field tasks. • Respond to equipment breakdowns and provide onsite project support. • Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with Australian electrical safety standards. • Train and develop the electrical crew. • Manage jobs, inspections and maintenance records using SAP/MEX. • Provide technical advice on PLCs, motors, generators and power systems. • Coordinate work with budgets, timelines and site teams to ensure safe, on‑time completion.

What You Bring
Candidates must be a trade‑qualified electrician holding a Queensland Electrical Licence and an open‑class driver’s licence. The ideal person has strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, proven supervisory experience, competence with PLCs, control systems, motors and generators, and solid computer skills including SAP or MEX. Preference is given to those with a WA licence, hazardous‑area certification, design or project experience, and a background in oil & gas, mining or industrial environments. • Trade‑qualified electrician with a Queensland Electrical Licence and open‑class driver’s licence. • Strong knowledge of electrical safety and Australian Standards. • Proven leadership or supervision experience. • Experience with PLCs, control systems, motors and generators. • Proficient computer skills; experience using SAP or MEX. • Ability to work a 2:2 roster with on‑call duties and field‑based work. • Preferred: WA Electrical Licence, QTP/QBP, hazardous‑area certification, design or project experience, oil & gas/mining background. • Mix of leadership and hands‑on field work.
