About the Role
The role supports the GIS Supervisor in installing, repairing and fault‑eliminating high‑voltage switching systems worldwide for PGHV, representing Hitachi Energy at client sites and ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining a strong cost‑performance focus. Key duties include performing independent installation and commissioning work, adhering to safety and accident‑prevention guidelines, red‑marking drawings for required changes, advising sub‑supplier superintendents on workforce planning, coordinating with the PG Project Manager on work status, inspecting incoming material, managing non‑conformance reports, supervising final tests and documentation, and participating in loop‑check activities and site meetings. • Execute installation and maintenance of high‑voltage GIS independently. • Ensure compliance with safety, accident‑prevention, and live‑system guidelines. • Update and red‑mark drawings to reflect on‑site modifications. • Advise sub‑supplier installation superintendents on workforce planning and schedule adherence. • Collaborate with PG Project Manager to track completed and pending tasks. • Inspect incoming materials for completeness and damage; coordinate handling with sub‑suppliers. • Generate non‑conformance reports for missing or damaged equipment within PG scope. • Supervise final installation, commissioning tests, and completion documentation. • Coordinate loop‑check activities and attend site meetings as required. • Maintain competence and compliance with internal and external regulations.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field, possess 2–5 years of GIS experience (preferably with SF6 gas‑handling and PGHV transmission), be proficient in MS Project, and demonstrate strong spoken and written English skills. • Hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant engineering discipline. • Possess 2–5 years of GIS experience, preferably with SF6 handling and PGHV transmission knowledge. • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Project and effective communication in English.
