About the Role
The Supply Chain Associate role supports Amgen’s Louisville Distribution Center, managing quality‑related records and documentation while ensuring compliance with GxP standards and all Amgen policies. A hospitality mindset and strong collaboration skills are essential for delivering exceptional workplace experiences. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include maintaining quality records for distribution and transportation, collecting and reporting KPI data on cold‑chain performance, meeting timeline targets, and supporting root‑cause and risk analyses. The associate works with third‑party transport providers, contributes to track‑and‑trace and return processes, applies Lean methodologies, completes required trainings, and prepares for regulatory inspections. • Oversee end‑to‑end management of quality records and documentation at Amgen’s Louisville Distribution Center. • Ensure GxP compliance and adherence to all Amgen policies, regulations, and pharmaceutical standards. • Collect, process, and report KPI data on cold‑chain, transportation, and vendor performance. • Meet timeline targets and support root‑cause, performance, and risk analyses with actionable plans. • Collaborate with third‑party transportation providers to obtain required quality information. • Contribute to track‑and‑trace, intercept, and return processes. • Apply Operational Excellence/Lean methodologies to daily tasks. • Complete required trainings and prepare for regulatory inspections and audits. • Revise, update, review, and approve controlled documents as needed.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree with two years of supply‑chain or operations experience, an associate’s degree with four years, or a high school diploma with six years. Preferred candidates have knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations (GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA), experience with quality and regulatory requirements, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Excel. • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree + 2 years or Associate’s + 4 years or HS diploma + 6 years supply‑chain/operations experience. • Preferred: knowledge of GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA, import/export, and pharmaceutical quality/regulatory requirements. • Skilled in data diagnostics and visualization tools such as Tableau and Excel; strong written and verbal communication. • Demonstrated self‑leadership, problem‑solving, and alignment with Amgen values.
