About the Role
The role involves managing environmental projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, designing remediation programs for soil, groundwater, and soil vapour, and interfacing with clients, government agencies, subconsultants, and subcontractors. You will also support business growth through client relationship development, proposal preparation, and occasional business travel, while committing to continuous learning and mentoring junior staff. • Manage environmental projects, including site assessment, remediation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance monitoring. • Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and technologists. • Design remediation or risk management programs for contaminated soil, groundwater, and soil vapour. • Liaise with public and private clients, government agencies, subconsultants, and subcontractors. • Develop and maintain client relationships, contribute to business growth, and support revenue acquisition. • Prepare proposals and deliver presentations for new business opportunities. • Commit to self‑development and mentor junior staff through training and coaching. • Participate in professional associations and corporate profile activities. • Prepare detailed designs, cost estimates, and tender packages for remediation projects. • Develop and implement compliance monitoring plans.

What You Bring

Excellent communication skills and business acumen enable you to succeed in our fast‑paced, agile environment. • Hold a degree in civil/environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or environmental science (master’s preferred). • Be licensed as a professional engineer or geoscientist, or eligible for licensure within six months. • Bring at least 15 years of relevant experience, including proven project management capabilities. • Maintain a valid driver’s license. • Demonstrate expertise in groundwater evaluation, phased site assessments, contaminant fate and transport, remedial options analysis, and remedial action plan development. • Possess strong knowledge of environmental legislation, codes, and standards. • Exhibit excellent report writing, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation ranges from $92,450 to $142,450, dependent on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic region. Dillon reserves the right to exceed the posted range based on lawful, non‑discriminatory factors.
