About the Role

As Senior Development Finance Manager you will report to the Director of Development Finance and support the Project Leadership team on the Tendring Colchester Borders Garden Community. You will guide the project through all governance sign‑off gates, including planning, sales, leasing, budget and contract pricing, ensuring alignment with the vision, brief and commercial assessment. You will act as the primary interface with the Latimer Commercial and Procurement team, contributing to the commercial strategy and business plan. The role involves providing strategic advice to turn the Business Plan into deliverable outcomes and leading the sourcing of external investment, joint‑venture partners and build partners. A pragmatic, detail‑oriented approach and strong oral and written communication are essential. • Guide project governance through planning, sales, leasing, budget and contract price approvals. • Liaise with Latimer Commercial and Procurement to shape commercial strategy and business plans. • Provide strategic advice to translate the Business Plan into actionable outcomes and secure external investment, joint‑venture and build partners. • Work a hybrid schedule (minimum three days onsite) and travel to project sites, including Colchester, as required.

Benefits

The position offers a salary of £67,820 – £93,254 per annum for London-based candidates and £61,698 – £84,836 nationally, with a 36‑hour work week on a permanent contract.
