About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for producing end‑to‑end fiber optic networks, ensuring work is completed correctly and to the highest standards. You will work on outdoor utility construction sites and operate testing equipment to resolve common fiber optic challenges. • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic network continuity. • Operate testing equipment and resolve common fiber optic challenges. • Prepare fiber splice enclosures (Tyco, CommScope, Corning, etc.). • Use fusion splicer and OTDR equipment (1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945, OLTS, Max Tester, power meter). • Apply fiber design knowledge, read documentation, assess light levels and dB loss. • Perform work on outdoor utility construction sites. • Solve complex problems with a hands‑on approach.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, has a proven track record of high‑quality work, enjoys hands‑on problem solving, and is ready for long‑term projects. You should have 3–5 years of fiber splicing experience, be comfortable working from ladders or bucket trucks, and be flexible with varied shifts and overtime. Relevant MOS codes include V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, and 5699. • Possess 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience. • Comfortable working from ladders or bucket trucks. • Demonstrate strong safety practices and high‑quality workmanship. • Adapt to varied shifts and overtime as needed. • MOS codes V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, 5699 applicable.
