About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to implement or support an integrated risk management framework across a major capital programme, ensuring threats, opportunities and issues are identified, assessed and prioritised. The manager will maintain visibility of trigger points, use risk data for investment planning, and produce timely risk reports to communicate status. Collaboration with contractors and proactive management of risk responses are essential to maintain overall risk exposure within the allocated budget. • Implement and support an integrated risk management framework for a major capital programme. • Facilitate identification, assessment, and prioritisation of threats, opportunities and issues within the sub‑programme. • Maintain visibility of trigger points to manage risk cost profiling and budget drawdown or retirement. • Use risk data to inform investment planning and produce timely risk reports. • Record and monitor measurable management responses, assessing post‑mitigation positions. • Track overall risk exposure against the remaining risk budget and drive completion of responses. • Collaborate with contractors to evaluate contractor‑held risks and their impact on client risks. • Conduct quantitative risk assessments (cost and schedule) to set project contingency levels. • Apply risk analysis tools such as PRA, @Risk, Safran and web‑based databases (ARM, Predict, Tableau).

What You Bring
The London‑based Infrastructure team is seeking a QRA‑capable Risk Manager to join a busy, expanding group working on high‑profile projects across London and the South East of England. The role is suited to candidates with experience in rail, aviation, water/utilities, highways or Defence sectors who understand complex risk processes. The position will be based in the company’s London office. Candidates must demonstrate strong qualitative and quantitative risk assessment skills, familiarity with probabilistic modelling tools such as @Risk, PRA or Safran, and experience with web‑based database tools like ARM, Predict or Tableau. A solid understanding of an integrated risk management process covering risk, cost and schedule on large programmes is required, together with experience facilitating risk workshops and managing mitigation and exploitation actions. APM or IRM risk certification is preferred, along with a construction‑related degree and excellent oral and written communication abilities. • Demonstrate qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, risk workshop facilitation, and probabilistic modelling. • Hold APM/IRM risk certification (preferred) and a degree in a construction‑related field. • Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
