Assist with building envelope testing, reports, and site coordination.

About the Role
• Provide testing and consulting services for the built environment, including property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures. • Perform field and laboratory testing. • Assist in preparation of reports, proposals, and project documentation. • Interact with senior staff members on various projects. • Schedule and oversee facilities technicians. • Promote a safe workplace and proper use of PPE. • Require applicable facilities certifications for all testing performed per Technician Certification and Pay Policy.

What You Bring
As a Facilities Associate I, you are a natural leader with a strong work ethic. While you may have limited experience in facilities consulting, you can quickly learn the ropes and may have background in pre‑construction surveys, site photography, and report generation. Your strong communication skills enable effective interaction with team members and clients, and your “can‑do” attitude prepares you to tackle any project, offering opportunities for career growth within the company. • Exhibit responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self‑motivation. • Require High School Diploma or GED; B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by NAAB or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related ABET‑accredited degree preferred. • Require 0–2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience. • In lieu of education, require 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education. • Prefer experience with non‑destructive testing. • Prefer professional certifications such as NRCA/IIBEC or AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector.
