About the Role

The role involves using CNC milling and mill‑turn machines to produce parts for Ripley Tools products. The employee will set up and operate both manual knee mills and CNC equipment, inspect finished components with precision tools, and ensure quality and production standards are met. The position requires reading blueprints, collaborating with engineering on product development, applying lean manufacturing practices, and participating in continuous‑improvement teams while maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Overtime may be required and other tasks are assigned by the supervisor. • Operate and set up manual knee mills and CNC milling/mill‑turn machines • Inspect work using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators • Perform secondary machining operations as needed • Read and interpret engineering blueprints • Collaborate with engineering to support product development • Apply lean manufacturing techniques daily • Contribute to continuous‑improvement teams • Maintain a safe and clean work environment • Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor

What You Bring

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of CNC milling experience, basic English literacy and math skills, and the ability to lift 35 lb.
