About the Role
The Security Manager will oversee safety and security for the assigned Gurugram site, preventing lapses and acting as the first responder to both emergency and non‑emergency situations. Core duties include supervising security staff, maintaining policies, ensuring compliance with fire and life‑safety codes, and managing manpower records. The role also involves regular patrolling, monitoring access points, conducting investigations, and preparing incident reports. In emergencies, the manager coordinates with tenants, medical and legal teams, drafts disaster‑management plans, leads evacuation efforts, and controls the security budget. • Supervise security staff, assign tasks, and provide training on procedures, customer service, life safety, and first aid. • Maintain and update security policies, checklists, and procedure manuals. • Keep current knowledge of building security panels and fire/life safety code requirements. • Manage manpower records for on‑roll and contract staff, including training, compliance, and scheduling. • Ensure weekly fire drills are conducted for security and unit staff. • Patrol designated areas, monitor elevators and access points, use surveillance equipment, conduct investigations, and prepare incident reports; track material movement and lost‑and‑found items. • Communicate regularly with property managers, team members, and clients about events, incidents, staffing needs, and recommendations. • Approve and interview contract security personnel hires. • Provide customer‑related briefings to all site employees. • Hold weekly meetings with vendor operations heads and share minutes with property managers and clients. • Review after‑hours security reports and monitor staff performance. • Coordinate emergency response with tenants, administration, and medical/legal parties to transport injured persons to hospitals. • Draft disaster management plans in coordination with the site team and property manager. • Lead emergency situations such as fires, evacuations, and human crises. • Monitor and participate in performance/behavior meetings for contract staff. • Develop and manage budgets for security requirements and staffing.
