About the Role

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, drawings, and schedules to understand scope. • Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor services, and other expenses. • Use industry-standard software (McCormick, Bluebeam) to generate precise estimates. • Collaborate with the bid team to develop comprehensive proposals meeting client requirements. • Participate in bid meetings and presentations, explaining estimation rationale. • Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing. • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors. • Prepare regular reports on cost tracking and estimating accuracy. • Work with Engineering and Project Management teams to clarify ambiguities and share best practices.

What You Bring

Their expertise in estimating and pricing drives successful bids and supports the company’s growth and market success. • Minimum 8 years electrical estimating experience. • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. • Proven experience estimating electrical systems and installations in construction. • Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, materials, and methodologies. • Familiarity with estimating software (McCormack, Bluebeam). • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and detail‑orientation skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. • Knowledge of local construction market and regulations (advantageous).

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 – $160,000.
