About the Role
In this full‑time position you will use MicroStation to create engineering drawings, ensuring they meet GDOT EDG, PPG, and internal standards. You will develop roadway and highway design plans—including alignments, drainage, and pavement markings—compile data, perform routine calculations, and read both 2‑D and 3‑D construction drawings. • Prepare engineering drawings with MicroStation, following GDOT EDG, PPG, and internal standards. • Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations for drawing production. • Read and interpret 2‑D orthographic and 3‑D isometric construction drawings for road, highway, and bridge projects. • Develop roadway and highway design plans, including horizontal/vertical alignments, drainage, and pavement markings. • Create basic arrangements, layouts, cut sheets, and detail drawings. • Ensure all drawings comply with applicable drafting standards. • Assist in preparing design submittals for clients such as GDOT.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma (or equivalent) and preferably a two‑year technical degree or certified designer/drafter program. At least two years of relevant civil and road/highway design experience, proficiency with MicroStation, PC literacy, and familiarity with Bentley ProjectWise and Georgia DOT guidelines are desired.
