About the Role

What You Bring

Trainees must finish the CDL program, pass the exam, and remain employed for twelve months after licensure. They will learn to conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, report safety concerns, and operate heavy trucks safely along assigned routes, handling loading, compaction, and disposal of waste. Additional duties include tagging unsatisfactory containers, monitoring waste compliance, and keeping the vehicle clean and operational. • Complete Republic Services’ CDL training program and pass the state CDL exam. • Work twelve months after obtaining a CDL before transitioning to a Driver role. • No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial driver’s license (minimum requirement).
