Plan, schedule, and control power grid EPC projects using Primavera P6.

About the Role
The incumbent will develop and maintain comprehensive project plans from tender through execution, establish schedules and man‑hour budgets, and continuously monitor progress against baseline data. Regular analysis of schedule deviations, design changes, and cost forecasts will be performed, with corrective actions and recovery plans communicated to senior project controls staff. Site visits will be conducted to verify progress and identify critical issues, while regular progress and productivity reports will be provided to customers and stakeholders. The role also requires ensuring adherence to critical‑path best practices, six‑sigma quality standards, and compliance with all applicable internal and external regulations. • Support LBU/LPG project manager and lead planner in planning, scheduling, and control. • Develop comprehensive project plans during tender and execution phases. • Establish project schedule and man‑hour budget; monitor progress versus baseline. • Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current project status and identify deviations. • Assess impacts of design or construction changes on schedule and cost. • Compare actual project position with desired state and implement corrective actions. • Create integrated, resource‑loaded baseline and current schedules for cost forecasting. • Ensure adherence to critical‑path best practices and six‑sigma quality standards. • Report schedule and man‑hour status to project and company management. • Coordinate all project work to meet objectives within budget. • Conduct site visits to verify progress and pinpoint critical issues. • Recommend recovery plans and update schedule and budget accordingly. • Notify lead planner/portfolio leader of scheduling deviations and provide optimization input. • Issue regular progress reports, program updates, and productivity data to stakeholders. • Devise strategies to overcome roadblocks, including overtime scheduling and alternative methods.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in an electrical discipline and bring 8–12 years of experience in project management, particularly in power‑grid, FACTS, AIS or GIS environments. Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 (and Microsoft Project), EPC planning, and the ability to work offshore are essential, along with strong communication, detail‑orientation, and fluency in written and spoken English. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. • Possess 8–12 years of project management experience in power‑grid/Facts/AIS/GIS projects. • Experience with project management plans (PMP) and plans, specifications & estimates (PS&E). • Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. • Background in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) planning. • Ability to work offshore and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and detail‑oriented skills. • Fluent in spoken and written English.
