Structural CAD Technician
Assist in creating structural CAD drawings and 3D models for transportation projects

About the Role
The role is an entry‑level Structural CAD Technician who will support engineers and designers on infrastructure projects, developing structural plans and models in a collaborative, fast‑paced setting. • Prepare structural design documents such as bridge plans, retaining walls, and other structures. • Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using OpenBridge Modeler, MicroStation CONNECT, or AutoCAD. • Collaborate with senior CAD technicians and the Structures CAD Manager to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Support multiple projects from conceptual design through final documentation. • Take ownership of tasks and contribute proactively to team success. • Apply strong math and geometry skills in design work.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail. • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; capable of reading engineering drawings. • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Work independently and as part of a team in a deadline‑driven environment. • Adapt flexibly to changing project needs and schedules. • Possess basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts. • Skilled in Microsoft Office and document management tools. • Experience with 3D modeling is a plus.
