About the Role

The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) leads design‑build/engineer‑procure‑construct (EPC) projects from inception through completion, overseeing the prime contract, engineering, design, procurement, scheduling and construction teams. This role also supervises field operations, manages subcontractors and purchase orders, and may require temporary on‑site management. The Sr. PM ensures compliance with contract specifications, conducts audits, and prepares reports. In this position the Sr. PM directs integrated DB/EPC teams, coordinates engineering design and construction activities, and administers contracts and subcontracts. Responsibilities include safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, project performance reporting, customer communication, dispute resolution, and value engineering. The manager also develops procurement status reports, oversees subcontract scope and pricing, monitors schedules, administers change orders, and leads project close‑out and warranty administration. • Lead integrated Design‑Build/EPC teams from project inception through completion. • Administer prime contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards. • Coordinate engineering design, procurement, scheduling and construction activities while reporting project performance. • Conduct audits, inspections and value‑engineering reviews of subcontractor work. • Develop procurement status reports, manage subcontract scopes, pricing and schedule packages. • Oversee change orders, schedule of values, progress payments and project close‑out procedures.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business, construction science/management, engineering or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. At least ten years of construction project management experience, preferably on DB/EPC power‑delivery projects, is required, with deep knowledge of transmission, distribution and substation work. Expertise in engineering, estimating, scheduling, bidding, contract administration, field supervision, budgeting, safety and quality assurance is essential. Essential skills include self‑starting attitude, effective team supervision, strong problem‑solving, team‑building and communication abilities, and solid organizational and time‑management. The candidate should understand the EPC lifecycle, construction methods, and be proficient with project‑management software (Primavera P6 preferred) and Microsoft Office. Travel up to 50 % of the time may be required based on project needs. • Require bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. • Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience, preferably in power delivery DB/EPC projects. • Demonstrated expertise in engineering, estimating, scheduling, bidding, contract administration, budgeting, safety and QA/QC. • Strong leadership, problem‑solving, communication, organizational and time‑management skills. • Proficient with Primavera P6 (or similar) and Microsoft Office. • Travel up to 50 % of time as project demands.
